Samriti Shelly, India – Honored and Featured Panelist at SDG Champion Prize Ceremony 2025Kathmandu, Nepal – December 28, 2025

The SDG Champion Prize Ceremony 2025, jointly organized by Human Harmony Nepal, Project 100, and the World Conference Council with the support of the Government of Nepal, recognized Samriti Shelly of India for her outstanding contributions to SDG Goal 4: Quality Education. In addition to receiving the award, she also served as a panelist, sharing her insights on advancing inclusive and learner-centered education.

Ms. Shelly currently serves as a Primary Teacher (PRT) at Kendriya Vidyalaya Kathmandu, located within the Embassy of India premises. A dedicated member of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) system since 2009, she has contributed over 16 years of service to nurturing young learners through inclusive and holistic education. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes cultural exchange, academic excellence, and equitable learning opportunities, reflecting the mission of KVS in shaping future generations.

Since joining KV Kathmandu in June 2025, Ms. Shelly has continued to uphold the values of quality education, fostering cross-cultural understanding while inspiring students to achieve their fullest potential.

As a panelist in the education-focused discussion, she highlighted the importance of learner-centered approaches, technology integration, and cultural exchange in strengthening the foundations of sustainable education. Her contributions enriched the dialogue on how educators can advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by ensuring inclusive and equitable learning for all.
