Ramita Chhuju, Nepal – Honored at SDG Champion Prize Ceremony 2025Kathmandu, Nepal – December 28, 2025

The SDG Champion Prize Ceremony 2025, jointly organized by Human Harmony Nepal, Project 100, and the World Conference Council with the support of the Government of Nepal, recognized Ramita Chhuju of Nepal for her outstanding contributions to SDG Goal 12: Responsible Consumption & Production.

Ms. Chhuju is a skilled video editor, videographer, and photographer with over a decade of experience in media and advocacy. She has produced documentaries, biographies, public service announcements (PSAs), and a weekly program broadcast on NTV PLUS National Television, amplifying voices for social change and sustainability.

As a photojournalist, her work has been published in national print and online media, and she serves as a Centre Committee Member of the National Forum of Photojournalists (NFPJ), contributing to the advancement of ethical and impactful journalism in Nepal.

Her international representation includes the SDG Youth Summit in Bangladesh and exhibitions in China, where she showcased Nepal’s commitment to sustainable development and responsible media practices. Since 2012, she has worked with Child Workers in Nepal Concerned Centre (CWIN), using media as a powerful tool to champion children’s rights and promote sustainable social change.

By honoring Ramita Chhuju, the SDG Champion Prize Ceremony 2025 celebrated the vital role of media professionals in advancing responsible consumption and production, raising awareness, and inspiring communities to embrace sustainable practices aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
