The SDG Champion Prize Ceremony 2025, jointly organized by Human Harmony Nepal, Project 100, and the World Conference Council with the support of the Government of Nepal, recognized Md. Nurul Afser of Bangladesh for his outstanding contributions to SDG Goals 7 (Affordable & Clean Energy), 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth), 9 (Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure), 12 (Responsible Consumption & Production), and 13 (Climate Action).

Mr. Afser is a prominent Bangladeshi entrepreneur with over 30 years of leadership in the electronics and home appliances industry. As Founder Director of Electro Mart Ltd and Trade International Industries Ltd, he leads businesses employing more than 3,000 professionals, driving innovation in sustainable manufacturing and advancing industrial growth in Bangladesh.

He established the Electro Mart Technical Institute, training thousands of students to be industry-ready and equipping them with practical skills for the future. His dynamic leadership has earned him accolades including CEO of the Year 2025 and the SAPS Regional Manufacturing Excellence Award, reflecting his impact on both business and society.

Beyond industry, Mr. Afser is deeply committed to social welfare, having founded schools, colleges, and trusts in Feni, embodying a vision of equitable growth and sustainable development. His work bridges entrepreneurship, education, and community empowerment, aligning closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
