Biswajit Saha, India – Honored at SDG Champion Prize Ceremony 2025Kathmandu, Nepal – December 28, 2025

The SDG Champion Prize Ceremony 2025, jointly organized by Human Harmony Nepal, Project 100, and the World Conference Council with the support of the Government of Nepal, recognized Biswajit Saha of India for his outstanding contributions to SDG Goal 15: Life on Land.

Mr. Saha, a dedicated wildlife conservationist and photographer from West Bengal, has devoted over 25 years to conservation and sustainable tourism. From humble beginnings, his passion for nature grew into a lifelong mission to protect biodiversity in the Dooars region, where he has worked tirelessly to reduce human-wildlife conflict and promote coexistence through community collaboration.

Transitioning from tourism entrepreneur to conservationist, Mr. Saha has transformed his resorts into platforms for raising awareness about conservation, inspiring both travelers and local communities to value and protect forests and wildlife. His resilience and dedication continue to champion the preservation of natural habitats, ensuring that biodiversity thrives for future generations.

By honoring Biswajit Saha, the SDG Champion Prize Ceremony 2025 celebrated the vital role of conservationists in safeguarding ecosystems, promoting sustainable tourism, and advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
