The SDG Champion Prize Ceremony 2025, jointly organized by Human Harmony Nepal, Project 100, and the World Conference Council with the support of the Government of Nepal, recognized MKA Shahinoor Rahman Jahid of Bangladesh for his significant contributions to SDG Goal 4: Quality Education, alongside his impactful work supporting SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities).

Mr. Jahid serves as the Chief Executive Officer of GM Holdings Limited (Deshbandhu Group), Bangladesh, where he has established himself as a seasoned leader in real estate and economic zone development. His vision and leadership have driven sustainable urbanization, industrial growth, and responsible investment, creating opportunities for communities and strengthening the foundations of inclusive development.

Panel Discussion Participation
In addition to receiving the award, Mr. Jahid was also a featured panelist in the Panel Discussion on Global Partnerships for Sustainable Development, moderated by Ms. Mahalakshmi Sankar Ganesh. He shared insights on the importance of NGO collaboration, international cooperation, and multi-stakeholder partnerships in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. His contributions highlighted how responsible business leadership can foster education, innovation, and sustainable cities while strengthening collective action.
