Dr. B. Lakshmikantham IAS (Retd.), India – Honored at SDG Champion Prize Ceremony 2025

The SDG Champion Prize Ceremony 2025, jointly organized by Human Harmony Nepal, Project 100, and the World Conference Council with the support of the Government of Nepal, recognized Dr. B. Lakshmikantham IAS (Retd.) of India for her outstanding contributions to SDG Goals: Good Health, Quality Education, Sustainable Cities, Climate Action, and Strong Institutions.


A former District Collector of Krishna, Dr. Lakshmikantham is celebrated for pioneering digital and virtual classrooms and achieving remarkable progress in controlling malnutrition and anaemia. Her innovative governance and education initiatives have left a lasting impact on communities and institutions across India.

Her distinguished career has been recognized globally, with honors including the Guinness World Records, the India Book of Records, and over 100 international, national, and state awards. Beyond her administrative achievements, she continues to inspire through motivational sessions worldwide on leadership, management, and education excellence.


Currently, Dr. Lakshmikantham serves as Vice Chair of the Europe India Centre for Business and Industry, Director in IISc Startups L2M projects, and Board Member at the National Institute of Geoinformatics, Science and Technology, reflecting her ongoing commitment to sustainable development and institutional strength.
By honoring Dr. B. Lakshmikantham, the SDG Champion Prize Ceremony 2025 highlighted the transformative role of visionary leadership in advancing education, health, climate resilience, and strong governance aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
