At the SDG Champion Prize Ceremony 2025, jointly organized by Human Harmony Nepal, Project 100, and the World Conference Council with the support of the Government of Nepal, Ms. Gula Jannat of Bangladesh was honored for her exceptional contributions to SDG Goal No. 1: No Poverty.

With over 13 years of distinguished service at Pubali Bank Limited, Ms. Jannat has built a career marked by expertise in General Banking and Branch Operations, serving in leadership roles such as General Banking In-Charge, Deputy Manager, and Complaint Management Dedicated Officer. Her work has been pivotal in strengthening financial inclusion, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering efficient banking services to diverse communities.
She is recognized as an expert in customer grievance resolution, remittance services, RTGS, and BEFTN operations, helping bridge gaps in financial access and empowering individuals through reliable banking systems. Beyond her technical expertise, Ms. Jannat has demonstrated strong skills in corporate communication, frequently serving as a presenter and master of ceremonies, reflecting her ability to connect with stakeholders and foster trust.
Academically, she holds an Executive MBA in MIS and the JAIBB qualification, complemented by global training programs and leadership recognition. Her dedication to professional excellence and community empowerment underscores her role as a champion of poverty reduction through sustainable financial practices.
